nVent Schroff's front horizontal rails are central components in 19" subracks like the europacPRO system. They serve to mount and guide circuit boards and modules, ensuring their secure positioning.
These rails are made from anodized aluminum with conductive contact surfaces and are available in various designs to meet different mechanical requirements:
Type L-KD (light, short roof): This variant is designed for lower loads and is particularly suitable for applications with a maximum load capacity of up to 5 kg.
Type H-LD (heavy, long roof): These rails are designed for higher mechanical stresses and offer increased stability for heavier modules. The long roof allows the use of IEEE extraction handles.
Type R-LD (robust, long roof): This "Rugged" module rail with 3-hole mounting increases stability and is ideal for extracting or inserting CompactPCI or VME64x boards.
The standard width is 84 HP (horizontal pitch), which corresponds to 431.8 mm. The rails have a coordinated hole pattern for mounting guide rails and can be used both at the top and bottom of the subrack.
