While IP 68 already ensures complete dust and water tightness and the housing can even be used permanently underwater, IP 69K is additionally protected against high-pressure and hot water jets. This makes them the ideal choice for hygiene-critical applications that require regular cleaning with high-pressure cleaners – such as in the food or pharmaceutical industries.
