The shrink tubes TFE2 and TFE4 made of high-quality PTFE (Teflon) have been specially developed for applications where extreme temperature and chemical resistance are required. They are particularly suitable for protecting sensors, measuring devices, or moving parts under demanding environmental conditions.
Both variants offer a very smooth PTFE surface, which enables excellent sliding properties and supports easy cleaning.
TFE2: Shrink ratio 2:1
TFE4: Shrink ratio 4:1 for larger diameter differences
The thin-walled tube remains dimensionally stable, abrasion-resistant, and resistant to aggressive chemicals even at high temperatures.
Properties:
High temperature resistance
Extreme mechanical and chemical resistance
Very good sliding properties due to smooth PTFE surface
Resistant to aggressive media, ideal for sensors and measurement technology
Shrink ratios 2:1 and 4:1 available
Applications:
Protection of temperature and pH sensors in aggressive media
Encapsulation of components with high sliding stress, e.g., on rollers
Suitable for use at high temperatures and in the chemical or process industry
