Thick-walled heat shrink tubes are the first choice when cables and wires need to be permanently protected from extreme mechanical stresses, weather influences, or moisture. The greater the stress, the more important a thick-walled design is to ensure optimal abrasion, bend, and cut protection.

With a shrink ratio of 4:1, thick-walled heat shrink tubes are also suitable for applications with large diameter differences, providing a secure hold and reliable sealing. The integrated inner adhesive (in type HA47) offers additional protection against moisture and supports the strain relief of the connection.
