Crimp Contacts D-Sub HMC – for Applications with Particularly High Mating Cycles

The HMC crimp contacts for D-Sub are designed for extreme mechanical stress and specifically developed for applications requiring very frequent mating cycles. They feature a wear-resistant gold plating and guarantee a permanently reliable connection – ideal for testing and laboratory facilities.

Technical Features:

  • Contact types: Crimp contact, pin or socket
  • Conductor cross-section: 0.09 – 0.25 mm² (AWG 28–24)
  • Contact resistance: ≤ 10 mΩ
  • Stripping length: 4.5 mm
  • Surface: HMC special gold plating (wear-resistant)
  • Material: Copper alloy
  • Mating cycles: > 10,000 (with suitable counterpart)
  • Requirement level: 1 according to CECC 75301-802

Environmental & Standard Compliance:

  • RoHS compliant with exception (copper alloy with up to 4% lead)
  • REACH compliant (contains lead)
  • SCIP registration available
  • California Proposition 65: Contains lead, nickel

Your Advantages:

  • Extremely high durability – over 10,000 mating cycles
  • Wear-resistant gold plating – optimal contact security even with frequent use
  • Compact design for use in D-Sub interfaces
  • Reliable crimp connection – mechanically robust and vibration-resistant
  • Ideal for test stands, laboratory environments, and modular systems
