Crimp Contacts for D-Sub – Compact Solutions for Fine Conductor Cross-Sections

The D-Sub crimp contacts are designed for applications in the data, signal, and control areas. They are characterized by a compact design and reliable crimp connection and are available in turned versions as pin or socket contacts.

Technical Features:

  • Contact types: Crimp contact, pin or socket
  • Conductor cross-section: 0.09 – 0.25 mm² (AWG 28–24)
  • Rated current: depending on system application (typical for signal transmission)
  • Contact resistance: ≤ 10 mΩ
  • Stripping length: 4.5 mm
  • Requirement level: 1 (according to CECC 75301-802)
  • Manufacturing process: turned contacts
  • Contact surface: precious metal over nickel
  • Material: copper alloy

Environmental & Standards Compliance:

  • RoHS compliant (with exception: lead ≤ 4% in copper alloy for socket contacts)
  • REACH compliant (pin contact: no SVHC; socket contact: contains lead)
  • SCIP number available (for socket contact)
  • California Proposition 65: contains lead, nickel

Your Benefits:

  • Reliable signal transmission in compact interfaces
  • Suitable for fine conductor cross-sections from AWG 28–24
  • Robust crimp connection through turned precision contacts
  • Industry-grade – tested according to CECC standards
  • Versatile application – e.g., in D-Sub connectors for control and communication technology
